A few of my favorite things - 2014 edition, Part 1.

Here's a mishmash of all the media that's making my world a better place. 

Call Your Girlfriend - Ann Friedman and Aminatou Sow manage to articulate everything that is inside my brain on a weekly basis. Seriously. I might even consider them my long-distance besties (is that weird?). 

Marry Me - It's looking a bit grim but I'm hoping this one makes it. Maybe I'm a little biased because I love Ken Marino but seriously, I have a feeling it's going to get really good! Hokey in that Parks and Recreation kind of way. 

Serial - Yes, another podcast. This one is riveting. Serial tells a story episode by episode over the course of a season. Right now it's unraveling the story of Adnan Syed and how he was convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee.

Memoirs - I'm not much of a fiction reader so this one isn't really that new in my world. I've thumbed my way (or swiped, really) through Grace Coddington's Grace: A Memoir and Lena Dunham's Not That Kind of Girl. Currently devouring Amy Poehler's Yes Please.
