Recently, I was having a conversation with someone about where to hang a particular piece of art. I suggested their bathroom which prompted a quizzical response, "The bathroom, really?" As if bathroom should be without art. With our full bath renovation nearly complete, I looked around at the new space, with its new energy and decided my old wall hanging would not suffice.
I'll do the full reveal once I tie up the odds and ends but for now, let's just consider empty spaces. The color palette is neutral with matte black floors, white subway tile in the show and Benjamin Moore Moonshine on the walls. And for whatever reason, this updated room (and the kitchen too) are giving me a somewhat nautical vibe. Living so close to the beach I've always shied away from anything beachy, so you see my dilemma. Here are a few options:
The top row is non-nautical options while the bottom row offers some ideas should I decide to lean into the concept. Am still thoroughly undecided but have a few vintage travel postcards living that I might put in there too. If so, I think have it narrowed down to 1, 3 or 4. What do you think about bathroom art?
