Weekend coffee #235 + 236.
Like a lot of folks, last Friday’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade hit me like a slap across the face. Sure, I knew it might happen, but I wasn’t really expecting to get the news alert while I waited at the car dealership for my loaner to pull up. So I didn’t post last weekend. I took some time to reflect and process and have a few drinks. I’d be lying if I said I felt better now because I don’t, though I am learning to channel my rage into productivity. Which includes taking off for the weekend so here’s a look at what’s going on a day earlier than usual:
After 22 years and one zillion meals, Adam Platt signed off.
Kate Bush, Lynn Fitch, Cost of living, Electroconvulsive therapy.
Lake Superior has thoughts about your inane abortion tweets.
Currently watching: God’s Favorite Idiot.
Currently reading: The Time Traveler’s Wife (so I can watch the terrible-looking HBO series).
That’s all for now. Until next time, thanks for following along - and support your local abortion fund.
